Let’s get into some cool things that’ll be coming your way. I think the two-pack update is going to be much larger than expected, since we added in the shop and the title screen buttons for all the intended modes of play.

The shop is the central area to buy unlockables such as new characters, stages, potions, and modifications like in BBDeluxe. Recall that in Deluxe, blue coins were earned based on battle participation and those coins could unlock things like the Speed of Sound Mod, items such as the special and fireworks, and more. In BBLegacy, the shop was integrated into the menu, such that no direct “shop” existed, but one could use earned coins to unlock characters, boost their stats, and unlock groups of stages.

So in Ballland: World, players will be able to buy potions for temporary stat boosts, permanent stat boosts, new characters, future stage tiers, other player’s stages (more to come), and our proudest update coming to the game: Character Customizations.

As a part of this, all the main characters are able to have their own attributes, such as Pinky’s smirk, Yelly’s glasses, Purpz’s headphones, Renji’s eyepatch, Blacky’s yellow eyes, Cyana’s yellow diamond, and Bluey’s.. vanilla nature.

They can also have added items such as hats.

As of this point, we’re able to give them their attributes, however transmitting that information for online play hasn’t yet been added.

You’re able to purchase new equipment from the shop.

Part of the shop includes potions for you to top off on and select how much you want to use per match or course.
